The General

Hmmm so I last updated in Pittsburgh, eh? Lets seeeeeee, I got some medicine so my sinus infection is gone mostly, that rules! We drove that night to Altoona and played the Jaggard church that night. It was one of those beat shows that everyone has to just have fun to get through. Dylon and I went up and sang during Single File and I discovered the beauty that is SHEETZ! It's kind of like a wawa but maybe better, because you use a touch screen to order all this food and different coffee drinks and smoothies and its pretty cool. Then we drove through the night to Buffalo to Cara's house, which I was pumped about because I haven't seen her in forever. We got there at like 6AM and it was super freezing and she had fallen asleep at Andy's house so she was 15 minutes away and everyone was getting restless in the cold but once we all got in and got warm I probably slept for like 2 hours between everyone with their fake new york accents and catching back up with Cara. We played X-TREME WHEELZ and that was cool cause everyone basically shredded badly all day. Met back up with Cara and left the venue to go to Victoria's with Cara and Andy and smoke, then we drove up to Niagra Falls to meet everyone. That was fun I guess. I don't really get what makes Niagra Falls some kind of crazy tourist attraction. All you need is like 2 minutes there. We all went to Denny's and then back to Cara's. We had a day off the next day and it was basically spent with all 20 of us rotating in and out of one bathroom showering. We all went to Cracker Barrel, then I had to say bye to Cara and we drove another 6 or 7 hour drive to Hazleton, PA. I rode with Brighten and we popped a trailer tire and it was Austin, Alex, Dylan and I, no lights, Dylan Austin and I using our phone lights to light Alex's way as he changed the tire and also we had one cig to share between Austin, Alex, and I and it was a native. (Alex bought a carton of natives for 12 dollars at the beginning of this tour and it was the last one. Worst Cigs EVAAAA) We then stopped at a rest stop and Austin said he had seen some youtube video where you can get a free coke from certain machines by putting your hand in against the censor, but apparently it was a pepsi machine and not a coke machine ..... so it did not work. It was pretty fucking funny though. We finally got to Nick's friend Brooke's house, which is an old Civil War Mansion/Hotel. There was an Army General staying here at some point during the war and he died here. It was way too cold to bury him outside... so they buried him under the floorboards in the basement and if you tap the floor under the pool table its hollow. The entire house is like a cobblestone castle. The inside looks like it was just redone in the 1970's and nobody changed anything, and then part of the inside is super modern and redone. It's really weird. I'm pumped theres a hot tub, a ton of bathrooms, and a bed for almost everyone. I never sleep anymore which is a huge problem. And I got some kind of hives in Buffalo that are bothering the shit out of me. Today we left Brooke's house and went to Lancaster. Once again I rode with Brighten and when we got there we went walking around the neighborhood. It was such a weird fucking town. There were tons of just like junk and antique stores. We found some magic shop where the guy did a ton of tricks for Austin, Justin, Alex, and I. Like super weird card tricks that we seriously have no idea how he did. The Urgency hopped back on the tour today, which was sweet. I missed Tyler and Auggie a lot. Also, there was a fooz-ball hockey table in the venue that I played all night, with Eric being the slayer of all time and beating just about everybody. I'm still figuring out whether I'm jumping off this tour in Long Island or I'm staying the whole way. I guess I'll update this pretty soon with that decision since Long Island is Saturday. I can't wait to get to NJ and LI and see everyone either way. I'm so pumped. I miss everyone a lot. As always here's some photos.

in the PITT

Pittsburgh today. Many apologies for not updating the past two days, I've been sick with a sinus infection courtesy of the lovely Justin Richards. So the past few days haven't been so fun for me. Hmm. Dekalb was good, a group of fans who were at the Chicago show two days before came and they were the bomb. I love meeting nice people. The turn out was well and stuff. It was Carrissa's last day (Dylon's girlfriend), so that was a bummer. We all caravaned to Michigan and slept in a parking lot, woke up and everyone ate at a wafflehouse except I stayed sleeping. (This was the day I woke up sick to Nick coming in the RV and shaking me awake then running out.) We then went to ARRTM's hotel and showered and stuff, then to the venue to load in. Then Nick, Bam, Halvo, Loren, Tex and I went to this place called Menna's that had the best things ever there called DUBS. They're like wraps/burritos but with really good straight up american food in them, like chicken and cheese and potatoes and all that good stuff. Mac's bar sucks, I hate the venue, you can smoke inside and even though I'm a smoker I can't take sitting in a room FULL OF smoke, especially sick. I took a nap on Dylon for the better part of the night and then we went to get dubs again after the show, where some girls followed us. Apparently, they follow Brighten EVERYTIME they're in town, which is kind of really gay. It was awkward, we went to the hotel and they followed us there and Tex wouldn't tell them to leave so he let them into the hotel but didnt give them the room number or something, Idk, it was an annoyance to say the least, and a few people were pissed. I slept in an armchair with an ottoman and slept pretty well. Woke up to get ready and Austin was BLOWDRYING his DANK shoes that smelled like fucking throw up, and of course me, with a SINUS INFECTION was the first one to smell them, thats how bad they were ahhahaha. We all got up and I rode with Brighten to Akron, OH. We stopped at a Panera and ate, and Justin said the reason they don't tour with girls was because "I could if I wanted to" LMAO. "Hands in the sky, Pumpkin Pie." I slept on Justin's bench the entire way there and he may or may not have been a little bummed on it. Akron had a good turn out, I slung a lot of stuff, packed up and left. I didn't stay with Brighten and Rocket and I get a barrage of texts from Tex hitting on me after he took probably 2 sips of a 40, that was funny. There were some band girls namedropping bands left and right I guess and they went to the hotel except one of them was pregnant with someone from sing it louds baby or some shit? I don't know it was bizzarre. The other one was cool though. We ended up driving a portion of the night and then I had an asthma attack which was really scary so we stopped to get me some meds for my cough and then realized we had interwebs so I streamed the latest entourage and went to bed. We're in Pittsburgh right now and I'm not feeling too hot. It's freezing here. I'm NOT stoked to sling at extreme wheelz because it's going to be soooo fucking cold there, but I am pumped to see Cara. I'm kind of glad we're finally on the East Coast and I get to see a lot of people whom I love and miss on the 24th and 25th :) Text me if you need a list spot or if you wanna know what you can bring me (home made pasta and garlic bread please. and 40s)

Alriiiighty tighty. I'm gonna peace the fuck outta this bitch, but as always, here are a few pictures and a funny ass video we took the other morning in the hotel.

Day Off in Chicago

Heyoooo. We had a day off in Chicago today and we basically just lounged around. I ended up freezing my ass off sleeping on the floor of the hotel last night because I let Mark sleep in the bed, so I got up at 7am and went out to the RV and slept in there till about noon, came back in and took a shower. We basically lounged around the hotel all day despite me trying to get morale up to leave and go into the city so I could get tattooed and go shopping. None of that happened but we did go into the city and meet up with everyone for a while, hung out, ate dinner and came back to the hotel. We're all just hanging out now, watching tv and stuff. I spoke with Ashley about my plans to hang in Arizona for a while after tour, and with Rachel on the entire el ride to the hotel. That was nice. Our RV is in the shop to get the generator fixed so that we can charge our phones and computers, blow dry and straighten our hair and so on and so forth. Also I think there's like an engine leak or something but all I'm really concerned about is flat ironing my hair. (just kidding just kidding.) So here are a few pictures of Bam and a crackhead and one of J.

Chi towwwwn

We played Chicago today and it was one of the best turn outs of the tour, kind of got me pumped. I didn't get to shower until after the show and I felt kind of scattered all night, which sucked. I slung a lot of shit though, I'll tell ya that. Yesterday we played Milkwaukee and of course fucking Chiodos and Silverstein are playing the bigger room in the SAME venue. It kind of worked out to Rocket's advantage at least, because they played between Silverstein and Chiodos so a lot of people came through to our room and watched them. My chrons started acting up yesterday. I slept in the RV the night before last with Mark so no one could steal it, and didn't go to bed till 5am, woke up at 10, showered without washing my hair cause I had no time, then slept again for like all day, the whole drive to Wisconsin. I felt like throwing up for a while, then Mark made me a PB & J and I took some meds and felt better so I started drinking and smoking weed. It was Lives of Famous Men's last day on the tour, which sucked cause I really loved their drummer, he was the greatest. So I got kinda faded. The entire basement of the venue looked like something out of one of the SAW movies, and it was so bizzarre to go through there. The hotel across the street, The Ambassador, was where Jeffrey Dahmer killed two people. Yeah, so then I moved back out of the RV and into Rocket's van for the night because we had the Snakes & Suits photoshoot today. We drove about an hour to Johnny Minardi's house, where Brighten was already there and I slept in a leather chair which did not recline despite the fact that Austin told me it did and laughed at me while I felt around for a handle for like 5 minutes then gave up and curled into a ball which he said I looked like a little cat. I got up at like 7am and decided to straighten my hair and brush my teeth early before everyone woke up, so I get out of the bathroom and that gosh darned Eric Halvorsen stole my blanket, and hid it under his other 2 blankets so I couldnt find it and I had to like rifle through him and Austin to grab it. Then Tex of course woke everyone up 932948 years early when he knows we all just roll out of bed. That was annoying. Tex is pretty annoying. But anyway I got up again to finish getting ready and once again Halvo jacked my blanket. What a guy. We went and got Subway, then spent 2 or 3 hours at someone's office that had a lot of Kid Rock platinum records on the wall and took pictures in t-shirts. Snakes and Suits, everything was so nice and we got to keep a lot of free stuff. It was both mega AND mondo. Then we did a Walmart run so Justin could get his antibiotics and then we went, loaded in, and then went shopping. I got a Marc Jacobs jacket for 50 bux at some thrift store! Annie came out, I slayed at merch, and that was the end of that I guess. I'm now sitting in a Marriott, freshly showered, but a little stuffed up from crying because I'm gay and my stomach hurt so bad earlier. Everyone else is at Halvo's nana's , but wutevaaas. As always here are a few pictures and

Dinkytown

Last night we all drank at the venue and outside the venue courtesy of Eric Halverson's case of beer, I was faaaaaded. I smoked a ton of weed too, and lost like half an 8th of weed... :( Whatever could have been worse. Lives of Famous Men, ACM, Brighten and Rocket all end up back at Rocket's hotel but they didn't have rooms and ACM didn't want em in the RV, so it ended up just being a party in the parking lot with like some girls from the show I guess? So the lady comes and complains and says shes calling the cops and o Austin and I go up to the hotel where Tex and Nick are already, Justin comes, we're all just lounging, showering, getting ready for bed, then Halvo comes up and we get a call that Bam is in jail, the cops came and he got caught with weed and  he's already gone. Tex goes down to the RV and ACM and Loren tell him how Bam's gone. Nick and Tex are bumming, they even call Tim, their manager, and I looked up the charge of the first offense of weed in the state of Iowa and it was 6 months in jail or 1,000 fine. So Loren's on the phone telling us that Bam's already in jail and gives Tex an address of the police station. Nick and Tex leave the hotel to go bail Bam out and all the sudden Halvo gets a call and he's like .. "No, no ... fuck no..." and Justin and I are like ? ... turns out ACM, Loren, and Bam all made up the Bam's in jail thing, Nick and Bam were already turned out of the hotel parking lot to go to the FAKE address Loren gave them and they were pretty pissed. Bam got back and he, Halvo and I squeezed in a bed while Austin, Dylan, and Tex were on the floor and Loren and Nick were in the other bed. We watched the Steve Wilkos show FEED YO BABY BITCH and went to bed. Woke up, everyone went to get breakfast except Bam, Loren and I. Then we rode to Minnesota and watched MIB 2 on the VHS in Rocket's (new) van, aptly named "Joyce the Golden Nugget" aka "No Tex in the Champagne Room."

No time for Mall of 'merica today, I was super bummed on it. On the ride over we were looking up what stores were in the mall and getting pumped on going. Also Johnny was talking to Loren about needing a girl for the Snakes and Suits photo shoot they're doing in Chicago and asked if there was a girl on tour and Loren goes "I guess theres KIND OF a girl on tour" Hahahahahha.

We got to the venue and it was like carpeted velvet with large comfy armchairs everywhere it was amazing. Probably one of the coolest venues I've ever been to. We sound checked and then ACM and Rocket and I went out to eat at this really fancy Italian place that we got 50% off on because the guy who owned it also owned the venue. Then I slung tees and hung around, some girl meant to ask if I was a girl in a band but all she choked out was ARE YOU A GIRL and I guess we all had a good laugh at that one too.

I smoked some weeds as usual, slung some merch, loaded out and we went to eat chinese food and now we're at Colin's old nanny's apartment watching Arrested Development and doing laundry and showering which is awesome. Since I was riding with Rocket I've been showering pretty frequently.

Also, I made some kind of joke probably about being a lesbian to August on the first day of tour and I guess for the last 11 days he's thought I was a lesbian the entire time..... What the hell? I was kind of offended like do I come off as a lesbo? hahahahahha but Tyler was like arguing with him telling him I wasn't. Which I'm not, fyi. Bahhhahahaha how ridiculous.

Tomorrow we're in Milwaukee.
Here's some pictures ..

Slipknot Territory

Last night we played Wichita, Kansas. Everyone discovered the embarassing +44 video I'm in and now I am sure that I'll never hear the end of it. Then we all went to chipotles, I won 20 bucks in c-lo, and hung out all day. It's so weird to see the fans from town to town. I mean, for a band playing in New York City, they must think they have some pretty hip fans, but then they get to Wichita, Bumblefuck and all the kids are 15 years behind. I'm talking flared girls jeans, 3-4 toned hair, wearing those plastic jelly rings that people said were about sex or something ... whatever you get the point. Nice kids though. Didn't really sell shit, though.

Last night was the first night it kind of felt like a tour, everyone hung out a little more and we caravaned for a while. I rode with rocket to the moon and kicked Tex out of his bench. We ate wendys then parked for half a night and Loren slept outside in the fucking grass .. then we got up and checked into rocket's hotel. Colin and Shaun came up and showered, Halvo Bam and I watched the new entourage and I finally got to shower for the first time since Seattle. It was kinda nice. Then Dy-lon and I went to the thrift store and I got a sweet pair of neon green short shorts and a Bears jersey for when we're in Chicago.

Well, I guess I'll just post some pictures for you guys.... I'm pumped we're going to the mall of america tomorrow, i've never been.

Slingin Tees and Drinkin B's

Denver today. I spent the morning trying to get the generator to work so I could straighten my hair. Then I gave up and cleaned the RV, went to eat, loaded in.... Pretty chill day. I've been vaping every day and smoking 311's weed. Then The Urgency brought in Tecate's for us and we made custom Brighten and Urgency ltd. ed. coolies, HAHAHAHA. Not bad, not bad. The Urgency has a song about fingering chicks, so I think you should all go listen to that probably ... myspace.com/theurgency. Currently Nick is laying on the floor to my left singing Josie and the Pussycats .... ?

Tim and Eric's Awesome show is officially the program of this tour. Go watch!

Lots of Pictures today

My LOVE Brighten Dress, Me and Dylan, the postcards Nick wrote me, and Colin as me WITH ME (in no particular order)

Today I woke up in Salt Lake Shitty in the backyard of the venue, which I swear looked like a roadside diner like those ones made of tin. I hung out and napped most of the day then went to get Vegan food with Dylan Justin Alex and Halvo. It was good but a pack of skittles I'd eaten earlier made me feel kinda sick. Merch was outside in like some cage and these girls who flew from Phoenix to SLC to see Nick and Rocket to the Moon hung out in there with their mom all day. I basically just kicked it with Nick Bam and the Brighten dudes all day, vidchatted with Ashley at merch who Halvo knew (small world!) and played some C-Lo. (I rule at C-Lo). Tomorrows denver and I'm gonna switch it up and ride with Brighten or Rocket probably. Would be lots of fun. But the show was fun, dead but fun. They got a whole bunch of hot dogs and smores stuff and built us a campfire outside which was pretty sweet. I probably had one of the best nights so far tonight, it was fun, it feels like a tour now kind of. We keep driving past accidents almost every night, we just drove by an 18 wheeler on his side. Lalalaalala lifes pretty great, I miss Rocket and Brighten cuz they're staying and we're driving through but I didn't want to wake up at 6AM to start the drive in a van.

Xo from the road, love ya dude.
New AEK droppin soon

Day Off In Seattle

So last night while Brighten and Rocket drove we stayed in a four star hotel room at the Sheraton in the heart of downtown Seattle. We had a day off today considering the drive from Seattle to SLC is 12 + hours, but we spent all day shopping downtown. Colin and I got the same blue cardigan with red buttons from AA (looks better on me as a dress belted), and I got an outfit from h&m but went to a lot of other stores just couldnt find anything exceptional. We're on the road now and I gotta say I really do love night drives. Filling gatorade bottles with urine, not so much. Hmmmm so I'm really super into a rocket to the moon currently, go check it out and preorder Nick's forthcoming album through fueledbyramen.com, you won't be disappointed.

Oh, and thats me in the RV bundled up watching full house texting dy lon, hutto, and auggie. missing everyone. xoxo until tomorrow.

SLINGIN TEES, S'N D'S AND V'S, SO TIP US PLEASE

Seattle, WA.

We stayed at ACM's manager's in laws house last night, which was sooo sick. It was like the house from that movie Glass House. It was amazing to have a shower, clean hair, and a non-moving bed to sleep in for the night but I was kind of relieved to be back in the RV when we left. They did make us a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon and potatoes however, which was greatly appreciated. We're at El Corazon tonight in Seattle which is the chillest spot, as far as merch goes. I really love Seattle. I'm just hangin with Dy-lon right now slangin and hangin. A Rocket to the Moon's still not here yet and Brighten needs Loren to drum for them since they're drummer peaced a few days ago, sucks.

Anyway we got to the venue today and the Brighten dudes, Dylan and I headed to Subway when one of their fans came by with a fucking full catered meal, literally: manicotti, ceaser salad, vitamin water, apples, bananas, mini muffins, the most redonxxxx shit. All we get is baked goods, hahaha (which are delicious might I add).

We're planning on getting tattoos of giraffes on the day off in chitown, so far its me, dylan and austin but maybe more people. Giraffes are cool I guess thats the only reason we selected those as the official tattoo of this fall tour.

Tomorrow is a day off in SLC and I think (I hope) we're not staying at Shaun's uncle and we all drive half way to SLC and stop and have a camp fire, which is the loose plan right now.

I'm slangin, hangin, and doin hoodrat stuff with my friends, and I don't miss home not one bit.

Rainy days in Portland, OR

We drove through the night to Portland last night and arrived early in the morning. It was raining and cold and I got to wear my winter coat. There are so many crackheads in Portland its ridiculous. I kept waking up in the RV and rolling over to see Colin peering out the curtain at all the crackheads fighting and smoking crack outside the venue. It was kind of funny and kind of scary. We all got up except Shaun and got sushi, then when Shaun got up we went shopping at Buffalo Exchange and I got a Flannel and a gold chain belt and a gray dress. We're in Seattle tomorrow night so I'll probably wear the flannel again hahaa. I'm sooo dirty its so disgusting, hahaha. Everyone else gets hotels every night or close to it, we tough it out in the RV. Anyway then Bam, August, and Tyler went to Compound and some other store to buy fitteds and nikes but no one ended up getting anything, then we smoked in the Urgency's van. I really miss smoking out of a volcano and I'm pumped these guys have one. Anyway, on the way back to the venue from Compound I saw a sign in a doorway that said "TO THE LADY WHO URINATES IN OUR DOORWAY AND SELLS DRUGS ON THE CORNER, STOP!!!!" I think thats the funniest thing I ever fucking saw.

Anyway between all the swedish fish, cookies, cookie cakes, uncrustables, fruit by the foots, gummi bears, pinkberry giftcards, and donuts all these fans keep bringing the guys I'm going to be 1000 pounds by the time I get home, an example of this is the delicious donut which was frosted, glazed, and had oreos crumbled atop it that i just consumed.

All the kids are sweet, the guys on the tour are sweet, and I'm having a pretty sweet time. We're staying at the managers house tonight so I'll get to shower and then tomorrow We're spending the night at Shaun's uncles so I'll get to shower AND do laundry, and get lunch in Seattle spend a little time before the 12 hr day off drive to SLC.

I miss you. I'm sorry.

Day Two

Hmmm, I'm having a great time. The RV rules, slept like a baby. We got in-n-out last night, then drove for about 2 hours and parked in a gas station lot to sleep, woke up and drove. I got to nap, watch full house, talk shit, and get to know everyone a little better, it was nice. I forgot I had to do the full merch count until we pulled into Boardwalk. It was really fucking hot and I spent 2 hours in the trailer doing an inventory on all our merch, but I'm so glad I got everything organized and shit, such a relief! :)

I can tell this is going to be an awesome time, its always whatever you make of it.

The merch dudes for A Rocket to the Moon, Brighten and The Urgency are all really cool and I'm stoked to hang every night. ARTTM's merch dude Bam is probably the hippest, edgiest son of a bitch this side of BaWsToN cuz hes so fucking cool.

No shower, No care.
I like the fact that our RV has a shower thats full with cases of redbull and a surfboard.... it's perfect.

OH, and Dylan, Brighten's merch dude has a fucking ICP tattoo...... I think that embodies the good time I'm about to have over the course of the next 7 weeks. (Picture is on my facebook, my connection here at Boardwalk is the SHITTIEST EVA)

xo see ya later.

Slangin

Slangin. Tonight rocks so hard already. Trevor came! Fucking missed that dude. Corey's here, all the dudes on the tour seem pretty sweet, and I'm actually finally feeling pretty pumped about all of this! yeaaaah dawg.

cept im sweaty and gross and my hairs curling. fuck 100 degree weather.

Loaded the trailer

The cleaning ladies were at Shaun's from 6:30 am till like 11 cleaning the RV. I'm kinda glad I didn't see it before they were done. Then I spent like an hour and a half sorting all the merch and getting it juuuuuust the way I want, loaded the merch into the trailer, now the guys are loading the equipment and I'm just hanging out. Getting the Microsoft Office Suite bluetoothed over to me, gotta get some soundscan sheets and a notebook and I think we're leaving veeerrrry soon, so thats all for now. Oh, thats me and Colin's dog, Charly.
